Our Scholarship Program was created to recognize the achievements, dedication, and efforts put forth by student-athletes from: Sartell, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Tech, St. Cloud Cathedral, and Sauk Rapid/Rice High School. There is a winner from each school. So far the Tom Bearson Foundation has given $9,000 in scholarships.

The Tom Bearson Spirit Award and Scholarship recognizes the achievements, perseverance, and positive spirit put forth by a Central Minnesota student-athlete. Each winner (boy or girl) is awarded a $1,500 scholarship. So far the Tom Bearson Foundation has given $6,500 to Spirit Award winners. 

Basketball was such a huge part of Tom's life that we knew one of the main focuses of our foundation had to related to basketball -- more specifically, related to high school basketball. So far we have donated over $7,400 to the Sartell High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams.

​Our Foundation is committed to funding youth basketball programs, along with financing extra practice times for the Sartell Area Youth Basketball Association Girls and Boys teams. So far the Foundation has given $15,000 to the SAYBA programs.

The Tom Bearson Inspiration Award recognizes a senior on the Sartell High School Boys Basketball Team who completely commits to inspiring his peers. The ideal recipient for this award is selfless, team-oriented, and has a positive attitude! 

One ongoing focus of our foundation is providing personal responsibility and personal safety programs for high school students before they move on to college or another endeavor. So far we have spent $5,500 financially supporting our area high schools to promote these causes.

The St. Francis Xavier School Gymnasium project was completed in 2016, and it included a new floor, new backboards, and new lighting. This project cost over $81,000, and we are so proud what we were able to put together for our community.
