The 2018 winner of the Tom Bearson Spirit Award is Meghan Lentz from Apollo High School in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

 

We chose Meghan Lentz out of a large group of candidates from the Central Minnesota area. Meghan wrote an essay describing how sports had been an important part of her school experience at Apollo High School. As a captain of the volleyball team, she was able to put her leadership skill in the forefront her senior year. She is attending Concordia College Moorhead with plans to enter the medical field. Meghan will also continue to play volleyball as a Cobber next fall. 

 

We are honored to present the 2018 Spirit Award Crystal Trophy and a check for $1,500 to Meghan Lentz from St. Cloud, MN.
